Recognition comes first.
A good pet portrait should feel unmistakably like the animal you know. We treat your photograph as an identity reference rather than a rigid pose template, protecting the details that carry recognition: markings, eye colour, coat pattern, face shape, ears and expression.
From there, composition, posture and setting can be refined so the finished piece works as artwork in its own right. The aim is not to reproduce a photograph mechanically, but to create something with presence that still feels deeply familiar.
